Wind River Soap Co. began in an unexpected place—our family's brewery. Years ago, while brewing beer at our family-owned Backwoods Brewing Company in Carson, Washington, we started crafting handcrafted beer soap as a creative way to use one of our favorite ingredients in an entirely new way for personal skin care. What began as a small passion project quickly grew into a business we love.
Today, Wind River Soap Co. is the next chapter of that journey. While we're proud to remain the home of the original Backwoods Beer Soap, our passion for creating has grown far beyond beer soap alone. Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest, we now handcraft soaps, candles, lotions, bath and body products that capture the mountains, rivers, forests, and small-town spirit we call home. Every product is handcrafted in small batches in Carson, Washington, using quality ingredients and thoughtful craftsmanship. Whether it's one of our signature beer soaps made with beer from Backwoods Brewing Company or a candle inspired by the Columbia River Gorge, our goal is simple: create products that bring a little piece of the Pacific Northwest into your home.
